About Stephen Bennett

Whether playing his great-grandfather's harp guitar, his 1930 National Steel or a standard 6-string, Stephen Bennett is a musician to hear. His playing has won awards and critical praise. In live performance and on record, his diverse musical influences and interests are joined with a lifelong love affair with the sound of guitar strings.

My hand is working again!

My left hand, which sprang a ligament in December and was operated on shortly thereafter, is working again. It’s still pretty uncomfortable, especially first thing in the morning, but it’s working. I’m playing guitar and have arranged a show at the Windsor Art Center here in Connecticut on April 3rd. If you’re in the area, I’d love to see you there.

  1. So glad to hear that you are able to use your hand and playing guitar again.
Hopefully, we will get to see and hear you play at Winfield again this year. Wishing you the best on your continued recovery from your surgery.
