Change in summer plans…

Greetings all ~

As is the case with many people, I’ve had back problems every now and then for years. A few months ago, however, I realized that these problems are becoming chronic – and so I made arrangements to see a specialist. Last weekend the situation escalated dramatically – to the point where I am now scheduled for surgery. Regrettably, I have cancelled the concerts and workshops that were on my calendar, per my doctor’s orders! Health comes first! Hopefully, most of these shows can be rescheduled.

    I am new to your music (just came across it today) and REALLY enjoy it, and am buying some of your CDs. :) I’ve never heard of the harp guitar before, that’s pretty cool! You make some really wonderful music! So sorry you need to have back surgery. :( I would love to hear you in concert, but I guess it will have to wait until you feel better. The CDs will come in handy in the meantime. Interesting also about the Harp Guitar Gathering! I would like to go to one of these gatherings (along with a future concert of your’s) when they are in my vicinity of Washington, DC.

    I truly hope that this all works out good for your health! The concert you gave in Raalte many years ago, together with Tommy Emmanuel, was the best acoustic concert I ever experienced. May this fact give you some extra power for the surgery!
